The Interstate 45 in the metro Dallas area is a major interstate highway
that travels generally in a north/northwesterly - south/southeasterly
direction to/from the downtown
Dallas area. Sections of i-45 in the Dallas area is also
called/known as
the "Julius Schepps Freeway"... and at its very north-end, the
i-45 ends and continues northward as the "North
Central Expressway".
The i-45 is the direct major interstate highway route between Dallas and Houston (see the
i-45 Texas).
